Carbapenem-Resistant Enterobacteriaceae (CRE) Control and Prevention Toolkit


Leaders in infectious disease and infection control, as well as those concerned with patient safety and performance improvement, can use the carbapenem-resistant Enterobacteriaceae (CRE) control and prevention toolkit to develop interventions to control CRE.

The toolkit is organized into seven sections:

  3. Putting your intervention into practice
  4. Implementing best practices
  5. Measuring the impact of your intervention
  6. Implementing and sustaining your intervention
  7. Tools and resources

An organization can either use the toolkit in its entirety or pull out specific sections to meet its needs.
