Implementation Toolsets for E-Prescribing


Description

These two toolsets offer step-by-step guides for implementing an electronic prescribing (e-prescribing) system in different settings. One is aimed at health care provider organizations, ranging from small independent offices to larger medical groups and "safety net" clinics, and the other is aimed at independent pharmacies.

The following toolsets are available:
  1. A Toolset for E-Prescribing Implementation in Physician Offices: The purpose is designed to provide practices with the knowledge and resources to implement e-prescribing successfully. The toolset consists of 11 chapters that provide guidance on various implementation topics and tools that can facilitate the implementation process.
  2. A Toolset for E-Prescribing Implementation in Independent Pharmacies: This toolset is designed to assist pharmacies in adopting e-prescribing. It consists of seven chapters that provide guidance on various implementation topics and tools that can facilitate the implementation process.
