1: Great innovation bringing medical services into TANF offices
There are many components of this intervention that are good, including employing the population to run the intervention and some of the research project and using a community based participatory action research to ensure the relevance of the project to the agencies involved and the target population. However, I think one of the best parts of this intervention is letting nurses help TANF recipients navigate the TANF and Medicaid systems. There can be many resources available to clients that having an advocate can help them obtain. These resources, such as getting another eye exam, are vital in helping TANF recipients successfully gain and maintain employment.
