REALtalkDC


Description

The REALtalkDC campaign is geared towards young people in the District of Columbia (DC). The campaign reaches youth by providing sexual health information online and through a text messaging service that allows users to text "REALtalk" to 61827 to get information on where to get tested in DC. The REALtalkDC Web site also includes an interactive quiz for consumers and various resources for health care providers.

Resources cover the following topics:
  • Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)
  • Lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning, or intersex (LGBTQI)
  • Mental health issues
  • Sexually transmitted infection (STI)
  • Violence and sexual abuse
  • Youth homelessness
